The North Coast Current is an online news
journal dedicated to news, dialogue, arts and entertainment
geared toward the North San Diego County communities of
Encinitas, plus Solana Beach, Carlsbad and San Marcos. The
Current’s foundation includes the original Coast
Dispatch. With the purchase of the Coast Dispatch’s
remnants from its last publisher in 2005, the Current’s
new-media approach to news and arts coverage is now merged with
seven decades of local journalism.
